“WAKE UP” Short Film

Written, to be directed, and starring Kaylee Jade Warfield. The short film is adapted from her one woman play, “WAKE UP: A Stream of Consciousness”, that was written and performed in college as her 2019 senior thesis. The adaptation will still be based in surrealism, but with more fantasy and sci fi elements. It’s about “A woman must find balance between her dreams and reality by overcoming her fear of failure.” If you would like to read the script (15 pages), please contact Kaylee via email.

The goal with the film is to submit to as many festivals as possible to create traction for Kaylee Jade and her team so then they can tell more stories that break the status quo. “On Everything” Music Video for Latoya London feat Anthony Hamilton

In Winter 2022, Kaylee Jade was asked to direct a music video in Atlanta for Latoya London and Anthony Hamilton. Without hesitation, she said yes to the opportunity. With less than 2 weeks to prepare and 10 hours to shoot, she executed a beautifully complicated visual for “On Everything”. May you always know nothing is stronger than love!

“Bring A Friend” Music Video for Ayo & Teo

During the 2020 pandemic, Kaylee Jade was hired as an Art Director for Phoenix 4 Entertainment to execute the Kill Bill aesthetic in this fun music video for the Atlanta dance icons, Ayo and Teo. Like most videos, you have little time to prep and little time to shoot, but her and the team succeeded with 5.7 million views.

“Among Us” Web Series

In college, Kaylee Jade Warfield was cast as the lead in a web series for the media program. Follow Stella, an alien student in the Intergalactic Exchange Program, as she faces challenges on Earth, from love to survival.

“Black Girl Magic” Short Film

Written and directed by Kaylee Jade Warfield. In 2018, Kaylee wrote a manifesto for the Ford Freedom Awards to highlight black women. In 2019, she decided to turn the poem into an experimental visual. During her senior year of college, she gathered together a beautiful coven of black women and shot the short in a day. The short film went on to win a best student short for the Urban Mediamakers Film Festival in Atlanta. The world needs to know that Black girls are magical, and this visual is to highlight their raw beauty, poise, and grace.

“Respectable” Short Film

Starring Kaylee Jade Warfield. This short film was part of her alma maters film club. Kaylee Jade stars as the lead female. Two news anchors provide commentary for a young man's job interview, and things get kooky ;)

“Do You Wanna Be My Prom Date” Parody

Written and starring Kaylee Jade Warfield. This little Frozen parody was written for Kaylee Jade’s high school morning show to promote prom tickets going on sale. Lucky for Kaylee, she did find a prom date.
